Excerpt from article linked below summarizing tactic, and an excellent video on this subject by Colion Noir.

"Michael Bloomberg’s The Trace is on a campaign to turn gun companies against the leading online voices that speak about the importance of gun rights.
The Trace, which is nothing but a gun control megaphone disguising itself as pseudo-journalism, sent out a “name-and-shame” email last week putting companies on notice. They listed 13 specific firearm personalities with large social media followings. That was followed by leading questions that left little room for doubt what they were really after."

Video of Colion Noir on this subject:

The worst thing a target of something like that can do, is give any indication that they think what they're doing is in the least bit wrong. We as gun owners / 2A advocates, need to stand TALL and stand PROUD if people like this come at us, and proclaim proudly 'HELL YES, I SUPPORT THE GUN INDUSTRY'. We need to stop acting like the shamed little kid who got caught pulling his sisters pigtails, and OWN our rights.

We need to DROWN THEM OUT.

DECISIVELY.

This "reporter's" e-mail, which implies that the influencers may have been involved with or somehow caused the storming of the Capital, is a clear attempt to harm the influencers' finances. Colion Noir is an attorney in Texas, as well as an influencer. I would like to see him file suit against Bloomberg and The Trace for tortious interference with contract. Slander is not a protected form of journalism, especially when it it is done through personal e-mails instead of articles. Someone needs to hold the media accountable for these types of actions. Mr. Noir is in the perfect position to do so.
