New Year's Resolutions

Ozarker

Master Class
2026, what resolutions are you making to break? What will you do to change for the best? OK, for the worst? If you have no idea, ask your spouse!

I'll be starting my new company, Winners-Losers, how you can drink more booze and lose weight!

Blue pills or red pills, which do you use? You don't need a mask in bed!

Buying anything new next year, inflatables, anything that vibrates, anything that goes bang?

Well the famous - find a league to join on the weekend since my work schedule doesn’t allow during the week. Looking into changing detachments to help on the stress. Lastly keep on learning on the current hobby.

As for buying new toys it will be getting the XDm Elite in 10MM. I been getting other stuff lately.

Maybe purchase a gun, or 2, or3. Good on inflatables! Spend quality time with Maggie the husky. Try to be a better person and not let idiots and morons upset me. Try to get some new windows for the front of the house. Stay alive for another year without issues. Oh, and win the lottery!

I will be starting my new job Jan. 12th, after being laid off in October. Different career field with a large corporation. My resolution will be to be as successful with my new job as possible, and budget my finances in such a way as to be able to not only afford my US Navy reunion May 12th to 15th in Omaha, but be able to swing the flight, rental car and hotel into Rapid City to see Mount Rushmore. Hopefully, we will be able to enjoy our drive from there to Omaha. And the flight back into Jax. This will be from May 8th through the 16th. Which means no firearms or firearm accoutrements until everything is said and done. I have been demoing our master bath for a remodel to save money. I haven't been on unemployment in over 12 years, and I have forgotten how little it really is. At least I have had that, plus what I managed to squirrel away in savings. Of course, I know there are people who have it worse than I do, so I thank the Lord Jesus that I have what I have, and the wonderful, loving wife I have. We have a roof over our heads, we are not hurting financially, so my life is truly blessed.
