I think Walter Koenig (Chekhov), would respond “The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated”
However, Walter Koenig’s son did die in 2010 (suicide).
Anton Yelchin (Chekhov in the recent Star Trek movies), was killed when his vehicle rolled into him crushing him against his entry gate If I recall.

Yeah, saw that too. I never saw him play, but did see him coach against the Knicks several times. Great player & coach RIP.

Celia Rose Gooding plays the Uhuru role in the new series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, which is a prequel to the original Star Trek. I think the new series captures much of the feel and wonder of the original Star Trek. I am nostalgic.

Yea I forgot about Koenig.

Really liked his performance with his character, Mr. Bester, in Babylon 5 (great series).

It's sobering when old guys like me hear of the passing of someone from our youth and say "how old were they?". And then you realize how old  you are...

Nevertheless, in my mind it's still 1981 and I remain young, thinner and handsome.
