NRA Gun of the Week: Tisas 1911A1 US Army

My FFL has always praised the Tisas 1911's. He tells me that all of the people who have ordered them love them and that he has never had to send one back for any repairs. I bought a Remington R1 several years ago during a rebate period, but I'm not a huge 1911 fan. If I get the urge to pick up another 1911, Tisas is definitely on my list.

Centerfire Systems have these right now for $399.99.

A very accurate "clone" of the orginal, vs the SA mil-spec.

The only difference in the SDS/Tisas one is the ejection port is alittle lower than the original.

Inland Manufacturing makes a near perfect 1911 clone, the ILM1911, although their version is set up as a Series 80 internally.

But are out of stock everywhere.

Love my Tisas 1911 Duty Model. It runs everything I throw at it including the 185 grain flat nose, hollow points, aluminum case steel case. Has never had a malfunction with any of it. Its well over 500 rounds now and for the money cant beat it. I Paid 489.00 plus about 50.00 in FFL & Shipping.
