Old and Trusted

The ole man carried one thru every island assault they did during WWII in the Pacific.
He carried one always until the day he died. That was 1971.
My Mother used the same 1911 in an event she did in 2003, it was a ride along and qualify with a handgun.
She asked if she could bring her own. She qualified with ammo I made in 1973.
Brother has one, me I went with a P220 after 50 years of 1911s.

And as far as the woman goes, Im going with old & rusted.

I've been alternating a Tisas Stingray 9mm, and an ATI Commander in 45 as my EDCs for the last year or so.

Once upon a time I bought a Springfield TRP for my off duty carry gun, but got shut down by my agency because it was a single action platform.

@USMC6094 what holster to you use for your stingray? I have the same gun and was considering carrying it during the winter, but need a holster.

Comes in a two pack, runs 29.95 retail in my neck of the woods.

I have another Commander length 1911 only holster here somewhere, but can't put hands on it. Though I do remember it's marked with the Ruger emblem.
