Hello, I'm looking for the part numbers 9 and 11 on a 4.25 Prodigy. I bought this gun used from a gunsmith, who is unable to find them for me. Do you have any idea of the price and where to find them? I live in France. Thank you in advance.

ITAR regulations come into play when trying to ship gun parts out of the country. I suspect Springfield won't be much help here. Best bet is to try and locate them locally or add your order to your local gunshops order to the States.

i would still contact Springfield, those parts are here:

On a Springfield Armory 4.25 Prodigy, part number 9 is the recoil spring and part number 11 is the recoil spring plug.

at the most, i'd let S/A tell him yes or no

I throw ITAR out because a lot of friendly folks on the forums will offer to mail it to them because it is so easy for us to get. Just to help out because we are good guys and we want to help out a fellow shooter. Problem is, the penalties are the same if you are sending a firearms screw or spring as if you were sending machine gun parts. Thousands in fines are the BEST case scenario. Twenty one years in the industry. They don't screw around on exports.

Sorry don't speak French.

I don't speak French and this is a Google translation.

Loose translation: Thank you for commenting back. Coins 9 and 11 correspond to the original rise, according to the patterns I have. Do you know if there is a reference number rather than a part reference? From what I read, sending parts, even non-mechanical ones, could be a legal problem. Thank you again for your answers.

I found this on Ebay for a Springfield AOS cover plate. Not sure if it would fit a Prodigy or if the seller has any left (from this link it appears they do). You would have to contact the seller to see if they would/could ship overseas and if this is the right item for your Prodigy. Not sure why the link says "Pardon Our Interruption", but it will take you to the cover plate item. It's the best I could find searching the internet. Perhaps Springfield doesn't sell this/these parts outright, but may send them to you if you call them and they can ship overseas.
Perhaps @xdman can provide more insight and if this ebay part looks like it will fit the Prodigy.
Good Luck with your search.

interesting...

the parts number i looked up were for what they said, but the parts he needs are not them.

just now, it is telling me this

On the Springfield Armory 4.25 Prodigy, part number 9 is the trigger guard sleeve and part number 11 is the magazine catch spring.

damned AI searching the prodigy diagram on google.

damn AI to all of hell for eternity

I think the OP is looking for the "Factory original" AOS cover plate with U notch site. Not a plate for mounting an RDS. just my guess. If so, they would be part #'s 9,10,11 & 12 on the 1911 DS slide parts list 4.25" in the post 2 behind this one.
