P226X-FIVE zeroed and function tested

No time for a day of drills, but zeroed the dot at 15y and ran some plate rack drills just to function check it. I'm going to want to tweak (lighten) the recoil spring - as is, it's ejecting just beside me using my 147gr competition load.

Once my holster comes in, I'll start actual drills and dry fire.

That's as fine a pistol as I have ever fired. Congrats

P6 X5 is the ****. Problems with the P211. Until they fix that cheap plastic recoil spring plug, which has been breaking on some, rendering the gun inoperable, I ain't spending that kind of money on it.

I’ve read of two breaking. That’s not what I would call problems. I’ve only got about 500 rounds through mine, but no problem yet. The thing I don’t like is that Sig wants you to send the whole gun in for a piece that you have to remove yourself to clean the gun. The gun itself is a fantastic shooter though and the giggle factor is off the charts. The only thing that exceeds it is firing .38sp through my suppressed .357 Henry X.

It's there, blending into the towel. The only thing I don't like about these E2 slides is the necessity to take off the red dot to access the pins that hold the extractor and firing pin. I like to give my firearms an occasion deep cleaning but it's gonna be a bit of a PITA.

Finally took my GTO out this past weekend. Holy hell that thing shoots so nice.
