Powder Burn Rate Chart~~~ Nice to have

Once you start reloading and are using loading data looking at a burn rate chart can give you a little insight on
a particular powder you are using compared to others. Mind you that this Burn Chart does not include the amount
of difference of a slower to the faster. It only informs that #42 is faster or maybe the same as #41. It doesn't give us
the rate of speed of the powder. #43 could be 10% faster than #42 for twice as fast. So take the information on the
chart with a grain of salt.

Once you get the hang of reloading you will be able to compare the chart with your load data and have a bette working
knowledge of powders.

The fastest I have used to load Handgun is #12 Hodgdon Clay's. Slowest is #80 IMR 4227.
As always, enjoy additional comments.... I'm not perfect.... wife will verify!!

NOTE: I added in Alliant BE-86. I got the burn rate from Alliant. Nice versatile powder for handgun.

Does verification need clarification, see wife. Not always needed, but she will always let you know!
 
I do keep a plethora of powders starting with the afore mentioned. Numbers 49, 53, 54, 56, 57, 58, 62, 63, 65, 71, 77, 78, 79, 84, 90, 102, 108, 111, 121, 124, 125, 126, 127, 128, 134, 140, 142, 145, 146, 147, 148, 155, 156, 159, 160, 163ssc, 164, 168, 169, 170, 171, and finally 172. I have about 300lbs of powder.
 
My slowest is Win 296 and the speedy one is Clay's, that what's you expect to find loading mostly handgun rounds.
