Quick question- not sure if this is the right place to post...but we'll give it a try. I just picked up my 9mm Ronin and love...but it seemed awfully difficult to load the mag ....I had to press the mag release button...was I just being too gentle? I should add it is my first 1911 and have been shooting revolvers ...so maybe I'm being too cautious?

Yea, insert it more firmly, but don’t do the slam the mag like they show on tv, just do it more firmly and you will be fine, ask any question you need help with, there are a lot of very knowledgeable members here, plus some people from Springfield itself, we are happy to help in any way we can here.

Until everything breaks in keep the mag 1 round short of max full. The magazine will load easier.
