PSA about magnetized gun parts.

Most people probably don't check or even worry about it and admittedly it's not usually a problem, but magnetized parts in a BCG are something I don't like. It's usually a firing pin and being magnetized increases the chances of it picking up metal shavings. I came real close to buying a Degausser and if I worked in a shop or built a lot of them I would, but for the average guy it's completely unnecessary. As it turns out you can just slap it off a piece of steel ( I used one of my vises) a few times and the molecules will realign. I had to do it this morning. It took about 5 or 6 sets of 3 or 4 whacks but it worked.

Realignment of atomic structure. There's a few ways that can happen, but in this case it's most likely through impact. Hence why impact can again realign the atomic structure and demagnetize it.

If they get too close to a "flux capacitor" powered by a Mr. Fusion Home Energy Reactor.

I used to put bolt/carrier parts in magnetic trays. I quit doing that awhile back. Now I use a square glass container with a snap on lid. Put the stuff in there and soak it with CLP while I clean the rest of the upper.
