i aim to the right, so when pulling the trigger it goes left

preemptive aiming on handguns......well for semi's anyways..............revolvers i don't have the same issue.............if i can get my left wrist fixed, then it'll fix all of my shooting issues with semi's

Guilty as charged. Last year, I took my Model 15 out for a shoot. Mind you, I carried this pistol from 1971-1988. Carried it and qualified every other month. All LAPD carried revolvers, whether issued or purchased were castrated to DAO. By Al rights, I should have picked up my revolver and been able to fire off all 6 rounds without any problems. However, for some reason, I was-able to quickly cock the hammer. But when I needed that 1-2 pound extra to release the hammer, I froze. This happened several times. Had to work through it and complete the cycle. Not something I am happy about…got over it. Not sure what caused the inability but never returned. So a simple problem as stated , can get worse, and then better…sorry to go on and but scared Hell out of me!

I can tell as soon as the trigger breaks if it’s going to be a good shot. Especially with rifles. When it happens you’ll hear a, “d’oh!” coming from my port.

I do a lot of bench shooting. Real slow. So it’s even worse when it happens. It’s like it happens in slo-mo. And i generally know where it’s going to hit.
