Q. looking for a comparison review/article Hellcat Pro vs Echelon 4.0c

Good Morning,

Did a quick search and couldn't find one myself. Wondering if anyone knows of a article or video review between the Hellcat Pro and the Echelon 4.0c, not the original Echelon.

I have the original full-size Echelon and love it so much it has replaced my Shadow 2 for my competion pistol.

I also have and love the Hellcat Pro, clean with no additions as my concealed carry and it's been great. BUT with the new Echelon 4.0c comp, I was thinking about getting it for my concealed carry. Just trying to find a comparison article, if anyone knows. THANKS for your time.

Not too many articles yet. The only advantage I see with the 4.0c is the removable COG, for cleaning mainly. For concealability, the HCP is more compact with simpler lines. I’ve got over 1800 rds thru it with zero failure. You already have a larger Echelon, I question buying a smaller version of it. I too have both and earlier, faced a similar circumstance. I elected to spend $18 for a hogue grip which made the HCP infinitely better to grip and hold on to. I plan on putting a vortex defender on it. I can do it all for less than the price of a new 4.0c and still have money left over to buy a case of ammo and a coupla burgers from Chick-fil-A. If you are hot to spend the money on a new gun why not buy something different? A good .22 pistol to practice your skills inexpensively. I love my FN 502! Good luck with whatever decision you make.

Personally I have the HCP and like it but I like the Compact version of guns (like the CZ P10C or Glock G23 Gen 5). Anything else go to your local shop and do comparison. Also if you can rent both then do it. You have to be comfortable with it than some pencil pusher writing their opinion.
