Hey folks!
I was able to get myself to my regular Wednesday range day. (Don't tell Mrs. BassCliff, I'm hoping to go tomorrow too. She's out of town.) My favorite lane #10 was down today so I used my favorite lane #9.
I brought the same pistols as last week, Taurus TX22 TORO and Echelon 4.5F Comp. Neither pistol was cleaned from last week. Shame on me. But neither pistol had a single malfunction.
I took a page from those sharpshooters, @SimonRL and @TEXASforLIFE, and put some extra bullseyes on my B-8 target.
I'll send it out to 10 yards and try to put 10 hits on each circle. Using the Echelon, the first bunch came back like this.
Well, I guess I was close.
I patched up this target and sent it back out to 10 yards for another five sets of 10-shot strings. It came back like this.
OK, a couple are a little better but the rest are the same, or worse. Tell you what, I've got one of my favorite targets and 50 rounds of S&B left. Let's see if I can make any kind of big ragged hole.
You can see a little daylight. I think I'm starting to figure out the hold and sight picture. This U-notch is still kinda weird for me. What the heck? Here's a glam shot.
Now we'll do some .22 plinking. I still haven't cleaned the TX22 but I had no malfunctions at all today with the Federal Champion 36 grain. This target has a few mags on center mass and one mag on the head.
Look out, here comes another glam shot!
Now I will patch up the target, reload all the magazines, set the target at 10 yards, put two mags on center, and one mag each on the upper targets. It's really fun shooting this pistol. Maybe I shoot it too fast.

And just because it's a really nice Spring day, here is the apple tree in my back yard.
I'm going to try and take these two out again tomorrow. Hopefully I will get the hang of these new units soon. Thanks for stopping by.
