Red dot plate for non OSP

I want to upgrade my pistol by installing a red dot sight, but my equipment, an XD-M Elite 9mm with a 4.5-barrel, is...

As I mentioned above, the pistol isn't equipped for the red dot sight and needs a base.

I'm having trouble finding a base and a compatible red dot sight at a fair price. Since I'm not in the United States, I need to make the right choice and buy something that offers a good value.

If any member has any suggestions, I'd appreciate your help. (Any problems with English are Google's fault) .

Check springer precision or carver customs as they should have a dovetail mount adapter. You need to know which mount you need as they are specific

Have you looked at whether you can buy a new slide that is optic ready. If not, you will need to get your current slide milled for a red dot. The good news with doing that is that you won’t need a plate to mount your red dot and you can decide which optic footprint you would like to go with. As far as which optics, that field is quite large, but I would look at Holosun red dots as they probably have the best range of optics and are fairly reasonably priced. Where are you located?
