When I first got a 1911, AMT Government Model, I exclusively used Federal 230gr fmc match ammo, nothing else, never an issue

I was able to pick up a couple 9mm boxes a few weeks back. I'm impressed by the low price compared to other JHP defensive rounds. I'd like to try them in a few of my handguns, but with only 40 total rounds I would go through my entire stock just testing to see if they run in my guns. There's not much sense in finding out how well ammo that you don't own and can't replace works, so I'm just keeping them as reserve defensive ammo until I can find enough to both test and fill the mags in my defensive handguns.
