Vehicles may not always stop bullets, but in many cases the bullets are destroyed to the point of being ineffective once they exit the friendly side of the vehicle. Frankly I get pretty bored/tired of all the “Tacticool” bs that the Walter Mitty’s live in. She’s, unless you’re active duty military ( or “maybe” an LEO) your odds of being in this situation are only slightly better than you being the next guy to walk on the moon
