Intro: Vietnam Vet Nay Seabees (Chu Lai 67-68; Phu Bai 68-69. Ex LEO and CO,
While searching the safe I can across a pristine SA RO Champion 9mm that I seemingly forgot about. No magazine(s) have been found yet. Mag well is very wide, like a double stack. Can someone tell me which mags fit this gem?

Springfield didn’t make a doublestack 9mm 1911 until very recently—the Prodigy.

Your pistol uses 9mm 1911 mags. If it’s a compact grip, it uses 9mm compact 1911 mags.

You might have a flared mag well adaptor which could make it look wider. It's designed to help funnel the magazine into the pistol.

Buy yourself some nice quality 1911 9mm magazines of the size Hans mentions. Don't go cheap, a quality mag will save you headaches.
