Scout takedown bow

Not a bad idea here - up to 50lb draw weight if I read that correctly. Easy to pack out. I do prefer a good compound bow though.

Try shooting from inside the barn. You may have better luck.

If I even entertained the idea of spending armageddon traveling around hunting and gathering this would definitely be on my radar. I've spent a good deal of time and money planning to ride whatever out right here though. Some of the disadvantages of every day life here are definitely advantages in a SHTF situation.

Same here. This is our Alamo. I do however think it would be great for trips in the vehicle kit. Dont always take a long gun with me depending on where and how we are staying and traveling thru. I think of that family that got stuck and died up in the mountains. Yeah I know they were stupid and way unprepared, but chit happens to the best of us, occasionally and a bow is right in my wheel house in the woods comfort wise. I often when driving tend to take back roads , the road less traveled sometimes just to see something different than freeways, cars and cities.
