Identifying targets past 200 yards with a dedicated, quality thermal is standard. I can detect and identify targets beyond that range with current, quality out there now. 100 yards with thermals, I can identify features. Closer, I can see dirt fly from a hog. Most thermals now can detect items at 300+.. and longer. Identify targets at 200-300. See
