Sounds like things are going south in Los Angeles. News is that Trump is calling out the Guard to quell rioters holding NS hostage by Union Station. LAPD is belatedly on the scene, but refuses to enforce immigration regs, as does the CHP. I have skin in this game, being retired LAPD, even is 30 years retired. I hate this. I do not know what the New. Reed is like, everyone I knew has retired by now, but the Chiefs, since Davis and Gates hav3 been nothing but ass-kissers to the Mayor; starting with Willy from Philly, thru all his followers. None of them have any gonads and roll over when told to. You want To stop a protest? Do as we did in the 70s…get 500 policemen in line, with batons out and advance on the crowd. As they say, ‘Kick ass and take names”. Been there, done that…and it works. I am so glad I do not work now, I would be fired for my comments. Sorry for the rant, but the will be the death of L.A. liberal mayor, liberal city council and liberal Police .Commission. I must away to Utah n 2001 and never looked back. Yeah, I could have made more property-wise, but at what cost!!!

I lived in what became Inglewatts for a lot of my childhood. I still remember the address to the house. We lived within walking distance of the Great Western Forum. My dad moved us to the "Inbred Empire" when I was in Jr high. Inglewood used to be a safe place. I don't think those were rioters today. They didn't burn any buildings down or loot as far as I am aware. It still was a shameful disgrace but wasn't anything like the Rodney King riots. Now THAT was a riot! California is a complete cesspool now. I have a lot of great memories of growing up there. But you couldn't pay me enough to ever move back there.

A time honored tradition of burning their city down. Stop to think, how many of those protesters/rioters have a job? How many live there? How many have criminal records? How many actually have a stake in immigration issues? How many travel from protest to protest because it's what they do? And most importantly, who is paying for this? While I am all for what ICE is doing I have to question the legalities of Trump activating the guard as that would be federal orders aka title 10 and a violation of Posse Commitatus to enforce LE and could only be a support function. I get Newsome would never activate under state orders title 32 where they could do LE stuff but maybe more info will be coming.
That said I find it funny the same area (LA and California) that during Covid the overlords had LAPD and LASO make arrests of lone people on the beach with nobody near them as a public health risk but the same iver liars order LAPD and LASO to not make an arrest in wanted illegals or to assist federal agents in any way!

Individual communities should be allowed to determine what federal laws should be enforced ? Didn’t the Biden DOJ sue the state of Missouri for refusing to allow state resources to enforce federal firearms laws ? Hypocrisy indeed.
