I’d take it with a huge grain of salt. The amount of energy required to launch projectiles is quite high-I can’t see it being what they claim it is. I don’t think the psychics works,but I’m just a dumb old retired engineer….

These have been around for quite some time. I remember seeing something like this years ago. Its just that nobody has been able to make it practical yet. IIRC battery life and power requirements are the big issues.

Its actually a smaller version of the rail gun concept that the Navy has been working on for many years. An extremely high speed projectile fired by means of electromagnetism.
However, this smaller rifle version doesn't seem to develop the speed or accuracy need for a practical weapon.

And the navy version has HUGE power available. Any battery a human can carry will be a tiny fraction of the power needed.
