You won’t regret it. The Echelon is one of my favorite guns of all time.I just keep saving my pennies and am looking forward to the day when I can purchase my Echelon. I think when I do I'll get the threaded barrel and night sights.
Check Reddit. I think I saw someone on there had it done to their Ech.Anyone had the porting done by Patriot CNC as referenced in the article? I went to their website and looked at the porting and I have to say I'm not real impressed with the one in the picture.
Nice. I’ve got the Springer Precision compensator, magwell, and base plates on mine, as well as an X300U and Swampfox red dot (temporary). Here's my Echelon with a Patriot CNC compressor (using lighter recoil spring), Surefire X300U light, and Holosun XE507C GR X2 with green ACSS Vulcan reticle. It's super sweet and has become my favorite gun!
I’ve only shot it once with the comp. My friend was shooting his non-comped Echelon and we could tell it definitely makes a difference. I’m not sure I like the huge length increase. It’s more like the EcheLong now. I’d be curious to try a micro comp as well. That's neat looking, I like the splatter. Do you like the pistol better with the comp.?
I put around 300 rounds through my Echelon prior to getting the comp in March, and another 400 rounds since, various grains. For me the comp helps me to get back on target quickly and my accuracy has improved as a result. I’m not going back lol!I’ve only shot it once with the comp. There’s a lot of things that weren’t mentioned in the article. And considering there are only a few companies making aftermarket parts, it seems like it would have been pretty easy to include more.surprised PRP wasn't listed as a trigger upgrade in the article.
Agree. The PRP trigger is a big improvement.surprised PRP wasn't listed as a trigger upgrade in the article.
PRP had a booth at the NRA meetings in Dallas 2 weeks ago so what the hell, I picked one up.Agree. The PRP trigger is a big improvement.
Out of the box the trigger pull of my Echelon averaged 5.8lbs. With the PRP kit installed the average dropped down to 4.2lbs. Hope you get similar results.PRP had a booth at the NRA meetings in Dallas 2 weeks ago so what the hell, I picked one up.
curious to see how it feels once installed
When I first installed a PRP trigger in my Echelon the stock trigger averaged 5.8lb's, After the installation the trigger averaged 4.2lb's. I guess I've fired 600-700 rounds since then. Just a few minutes ago I checked trigger and it now averages 3.5lbs, 7 ounces lighter. This might be useless info thought it might be interesting to some one.Out of the box the trigger pull of my Echelon averaged 5.8lbs. With the PRP kit installed the average dropped down to 4.2lbs. Is there a red neon type front sight available, like on my XDM elite. ?Hello all, here is today's article posted on TheArmoryLife.com. It is titled “Springfield Armory Echelon Upgrades” and can be found at https://www.thearmorylife.com/springfield-armory-echelon-upgrades/.
