Suppressed Sten Mk IIS

When I was stationed at Ft. Belvoir, VA, in the late 1950s, Hunter's Lodge in nearby Alexandria, VA, was selling surplus Stens for $15.00. They were DEWATed, but could be reactivated rather easily by anyone so inclined.

No suppressor on mine either, but significantly modified with pistol grip that accepts AR grips and receiver tube/AR butt stock, and a clamp-on upper and lower rail between magazine well and receiver for forward grip and EOTech. My experience is shooting subsonic 147 gr. 9mm from closed bolt is already quieter than expected. With a small can attached the bolt slamming shut and powder detonation will likely be the dominant sound.
