a nice learned skill. Shooting distance with a pistol out past 50 and 100 yards is fun.
one of our outdoor range sessions has an RO that challenges us all with pistols at 100 yards. once you get the hang of it, it seems natural. for me, I found if I put the dot on the target, raise up and look right under my palm/bottom of mag, it puts me on at 100 yards almost every time with a particular pistol.

I know long range pistol shooting . But Dang ! I am shocked at the 25yd groups with the right ammo in the Hellcat .
Back in the day , the AMT .380 could keep B27 head groups @ 25 , but l didn't realize how much accuracy potental was still on the table .
