Got my birthday present from the wife this week. I am loving it. Fit and finish are spot on and the timing and lockup are excellent.

For those not familiar with this caliber, here is a round with a 9mm for scale

You can always shoot .45long Colt through this revolver if full power loads are to much, 454 has quite a kick, but fun as he77! Also after the gun breaks in, the duel latch system gets easier to use

You can always shoot .45long Colt through this revolver if full power loads are to much, 454 has quite a kick, but fun as he77! Also after the gun breaks in, the duel latch system gets easier to use

.454 is a horse, but pretty stout .45 LC’s will deal with most anything you’re likely to encounter in most places. If Grizzly or Alaskan bears are an issue that .454 would be forcing. Regular 45 “Cowboy” loads are a hoot to shoot and recoil is very manageable.
