the Bill to ban all weapons in my state

What I'm about to say is political as hell but I believe it.

I said in another post that I believe total civilian disarmament is the end goal. I don't actually believe that I believe total civilian disarmament is a step to the endgoal. The Endlösung if you will.

I believe that George Carlin was right as far as he went when he talked about "The American dream".

I don't think it's left and right I think it's Authoritarian versus Libertarian.

I believe the Authoritarians (Please note I am not limiting this to America) have a plan for this world that they can't bring to pass as long as the majority of people (not governments) in this world are armed.

I'm not going to go deep into it but to paraphrase George Carlin I think they want just enough of us around who are just smart enough to run the machines and fill out the paperwork and dumb enough to accept the increasingly "worse" (Carlin used a different word) living conditions, worse pay, worse benefits and the pension that vanishes the moment you go to collect it.

I believe that there are people in every country of this world who want to divide this world into two classes the NomenKlatura and the Kulaks and there's no possible way that they can do that until we the Kulaks are disarmed.

Sorry you're stuck with the pinko commies. until you guys vote them out they are going to keep stripping you of your rights. They are not Democrats anymore, the creeps are pure bred communist. Problem is Democrats see them as a savior of sorts. also TDS sufferers will accept anything other than Trump. Like i said before, send all of em, politicians, commie voters, TDS sufferers to Greenland permanently. and send them naked.

(y) And it is NOT always possible to just move.
Old_Me, what a shame about that boating accident you and I had a couple of years ago where you lost everything. And I'll stand on a stack of Bibles a mile high and swear to it.
yeah, and that was a really sweet boat too......i cried

no, no it is NOT EASY to move, at any age, but now the wife and i are at the "end" of our lifespan, what sense does it make to uproot and move...???

will my adult children, will my grand children, will my great grand children make regular visits to another state if we were to uproot and move..??

frankly, i'd have to say NO...why..??

its COSTLY to hop on a plane and get to where you want to go ONCE, but every so many weeks or the holidays..??

it is SO EASY for others to say...."you need to move".......without KNOWING all that is involved for the family.

voting "them out" is next to impossible.......this entire part of the country is under demonic dictatorship communistic rule...

people "want change", they scream it all the time, come election day...

yet they vote in the same idiots or the same party, time after time, after time.....

the old saying applies here......"that's the definition of insanity", and the inmates are running the zoo.

Colorado going a step further. A bill to make it illegal to possess, buy, sell or transfer any firearm with a detachable magazine just passed in the State House of Representatives and is expected to have the necessary votes in the State Senate. Pistol or rifle. Buy and Sell have no exceptions, FFL or not, from that day on. Transfer has a few exceptions; to a gunsmith for maintainance or repair, to a law enforcement officer or active duty military soldier if it is to be used in their official duties. There is a Grandfather Clause for existing legal owners for possession.

This post is untrue.

The bill prohibits knowingly manufacturing, distributing, transferring, selling, or purchasing a specified semiautomatic firearm; except that a person may transfer a specified semiautomatic firearm to an heir, an individual residing in another state or a federally licensed firearm dealer. The bill exempts certain manufacture, transfer, sale, and purchase from the prohibition, including specified transactions involving law enforcement agencies and peace officers, the department of corrections, armored vehicle businesses, military forces, gunsmiths, educational programs, transfer that occurs by operation of law or because of the death of a person, and certain firearms for use solely as a prop for a film. Additionally, the prohibition does not apply to the transfer or sale of a specified semiautomatic firearm to, and receipt or purchase of a specified semiautomatic firearm by, a person who:

  • Completed a hunter education course certified by the division of parks and wildlife and, within 5 years before making the purchase, completed a basic firearms safety course;
  • Within 5 years before making the purchase, completed an extended firearms safety course; or
  • Completed an extended firearms safety course more than 5 years before making the purchase and completed a basic firearms safety course within 5 years before making the purchase.

Unlawful manufacture, distribution, transfer, sale, or purchase of a specified semiautomatic firearm is a class 2 misdemeanor; except that a second or subsequent offense is a class 6 felony. The department of revenue shall revoke the state firearms dealer permit of a dealer who unlawfully manufactures, distributes, transfers, sells, or purchases a specified semiautomatic firearm. The Colorado bureau of investigation shall deny the transfer of a firearm to a person who was convicted of misdemeanor unlawful manufacture, distribution, transfer, sale, or purchase of a specified semiautomatic firearm within 5 years prior to the transfer. A person convicted of felony unlawful manufacture, distribution, transfer, sale, or purchase of a specified semiautomatic firearm is prohibited from possessing a firearm or certain other weapons.

The bill sets the requirements for a basic firearms safety course and an extended firearms safety course. In order to enroll in a basic or extended firearms safety course, a person must hold a valid firearms safety course eligibility card (firearms course card) issued by a sheriff. The bill sets the requirements to be issued a firearms course card, which include completing a fingerprint-based criminal history record check to determine that the applicant satisfies the criteria to receive a firearms course card.

The bill requires the division of parks and wildlife (division) to develop and maintain a firearms training and safety course record system (system) that includes records of persons who hold a valid firearms course card and who have completed a hunter education course, a basic firearms safety course, or an extended firearms safety course. The system must allow the instructor of a basic or extended firearms safety course to request and receive information about whether a person holds a valid firearms course card, the instructor of a hunter education course or a basic or extended firearms safety course to electronically enter into the system information about each student who completes a course, and a federal firearms licensee to electronically request and receive information about whether a person has completed the courses necessary to purchase a specified semiautomatic firearm.

The bill makes the unlawful sale, transfer, or possession of a large-capacity magazine a class 1 misdemeanor.

Existing law prohibits possession of a dangerous weapon. The bill defines "rapid-fire device" and classifies rapid-fire devices as dangerous weapons under Colorado law. The bill repeals the definition of "machine gun conversion device" and removes machine gun conversion devices from the list of dangerous weapons.

(Note: Italicized words indicate new material added to the original summary; dashes through words indicate deletions from the original summary.)

(Note: This summary applies to the reengrossed version of this bill as introduced in the second house.)

So you can transfer it to an FFL dealer, but that dealer can’t legally sell it to another.

Long Post.

The most important thing that I want to communicate is that the outcome of this Bill is in God's hands. He knew how this was going to play out before He said "Let there be light." I can throw all the fits I want and it's not going to change it.

Number 2. I've mentioned this previously but I read an article several years ago that hypothesized that there were at least TWICE as many guns in this country as the official sources "estimate". The article pointed out the "official sources" were only examining one data stream and that guns last a lot longer than people think. I've met CAS who have 6 shooters that are over 150 years old. So, Blah, Blah, Blah more guns than people think.

Next thing the WWII generation is dying off and their children are finding actual military ordinance in the attic. This is also happening in Europe but that doesn't apply to this discussion.

I think I posted an article here a year or so ago about a woman in Connecticut who brought a working German machine gun to a gun "buy back". The cops were decent enough to facilitate her donating it to a military museum for a little bit more than a Walmart gift card. Blah Blah Blah more guns than they think.

I already said Coloradans are buying guns on the list as fast as they can and IMO they will continue to do so as long as they can.

Last point.

The Bible says that the last days will be characterized by lawlessness. I think that even if outlawed those guns are going to be readily available until (literally) Jesus comes back.
