I'm a huge music fan, but when I grab an guitar to play I go straight for electric blues. Throwing it into drop-D for some metal is fun but power chords get old. Blues has it going on.
How many of you know Gary Clark, Jr.? If you don't I highly recommend him. With Buddy Guy being the last old school bluesman left it's good to see a new guard putting out some seriously good tunes.

That's 1 thing about Country, it has every genera in 1 place! That even has wakeup music. The kind when some bad events happen, it gets written about. Like after 9/11 a lot of po'd singers pumped out some great music.

I basically only listen to music when driving. Both vehicles have Sirius XM, with stations pre-set to the channels 60's (ch. 6), 70's (ch. 7), the Bridge (ch. 32), Classic Rock (ch. 26), and Margaritaville (ch. 24). Occasionally I'll turn on "country", on the Highway channel (Sirius XM also), but these days "country" is starting to be more rock-n-roll than the 70's rock I listen to.
