I think I've told this story before here.

When I got my CHP I was carrying a 1911. I'm not sure why but my wife decided that a .40 Smith & Wesson handgun would be cheaper to buy ammunition for than a .45 ACP.

So she suggested that I buy a new handgun in .40 S&W. When your wife suggests that you buy new handgun, you buy a new handgun.

Long story short, I ended up with a CZ75B in 40 Smith & Wesson. This was back before they were even really popular.

I was pleasantly surprised it was one of the best handguns I ever owned. My wife turned out to not be very happy with it because the magazines were rather expensive but it was a good gun.

I would have kept it but when I restructured my handgun accumulation I decided to consolidate to 9 mm and I decided to sell off every gun that I had that wasn't on my employer's approved list.

So I sold the 75B and replaced it with a 9mm M&P.

That is one of the very few handguns I regret selling.
