I’m just not sure if I’d do it either. Other companies are trying big steps forward with their Striker fired pistols. Glock seems to be Drunk Baby steps. If a selling point is all those aftermarket parts to make it perfect for the user I say I’ll pass.Well FedEx has shown up and I’m not sure if I’ll use it.
Most likely I’ll keep it and just keep going the way I have been doing.Oh, use it.
I agree. I don’t like the grip angle either. I personally look at the price and laugh.I’m just not sure if I’d do it either. Plastic sights? WTF!
They do need to venture outside the box. Also it’s sad that there’s more aftermarket stuff for them than anybody else.I will look at Glocks again when they come out with something that don't look exactly like all their other handguns.
That’s a big turn off for me on Glock. I have been bitched at by the fanboys because not knowing how to shoot but I’m fine with everything else I have owned. I regret going down this path to start with but here I am admitting that I was wrong and correction was made. When they change the grip is might look again. Most likely never.
I grew up and learned pistol shooting on a 1911 Commander and I will not go as far as to say it's a better pistol, a lot of people love a Glock, shoot it well and protect thier families with it. But I will say for me it's a better pistol simply because I can shoot it well and I cannot the Glock. That’s a big turn off for me on Glock. I understand totally. That’s what makes us who we areI won’t belittle anyone who likes them. If it works for you and you feel comfortable and confident with them then the only opinion you should listen to is your own.
I just happen to like John Browning’s 1911. I feel comfortable, confident, and fully prepared with one. I don’t need a rail, mounted optics, threaded barrel, lighting cuts, magazine well, ambidextrous safeties, Double stack magazines, cocking serration front, rear, and sides, etc.
45 ACP. Maybe 10mm.

I’ll see what happens. No hurry here.Hi @Jsimon78,
I suppose congratulations are in order. That is a good price if you're in the market. I do want to add just one Glock to my "one of each" collection but it's not on that list. Maybe you'll see something you like.
Thank you for your indulgence,
BassCliff
This. I tried a Glock once and my hand doesn't care for it. It felt awkward, for lack of a better word. The way I feel about people's choices is, "You do you". There's a lot of good natured teasing going on in lots of forums, but no one should be shamed or bullied for the choices they make.I won’t belittle anyone who likes them. Oh… 2 Piece Guide Rod that needs either a Allen wrench or a paper clip to disassembleI won’t belittle anyone who likes them. If it works for you and you feel comfortable and confident with them then the only opinion you should listen to is your own.

I do agree. I tried it a few times and I just couldn’t wrap my head around everything. Personally I won’t shame anyone to buy a Glock but will shame the fanboy. Some of us brand loyal to a certain extent.This. I tried a Glock once and my hand doesn't care for it. It felt awkward, for lack of a better word.
