What does illegal mean any more? It seems if there’s a law you don’t like you should not have to obey it. Case in point: highway laws. Should posted speed limits be treated as “suggestions”? Should we allow folks to run red lights because stopping would be inconvenient? It’s no longer unusual to see cars go past me while I’m sitting at an intersection looking at the green light overhead. It seems it’s getting to be okay to ignore rules you don’t like. It seems as if our society is headed down a slippery slope with no end in sight.

i take a speed limit sign as the common denominator the govt posted for all the idots that dont know how to drive and are clueless.
In a big city with a 45mph zone, that means the lead car does 45 but 5 cars back you are doing 35.
Be smart about driving and be aware and in control. Majority of the population cant do either
 
When my wife's youngest brother was alive we hung out a lot when I was in Ruidoso. 1 night I was driving via him and his friends directions. I didn't come to a complete stop at a stop sign and all if them said I ran it. I told them it's a yield sign after 5pm on weekends.........drunk people believe anything 🤣 . I never told them I was joking
