This Old Gun: Smith & Wesson Registered Magnum

I inherited one of those revolvers with 3.5 inch barrel, with the original box and papers, however, mine was made after they stopped registering them, so it does not have the same value. It is a fine example of the gunmaker's art. Comparing that revolver to revolvers made today is a stark illustration of just how good the gunsmiths at S&W were back in the day.

Good story on this old gun, Smith & Wesson Registered Magnum. Little history and good read on this great revolver from S&W.

Thanks for posting article Anni,
Is like that with most collectibles and most things are to a point. Is nice knowing the values of whatever. Values change. Rule of thumb, from experience, don't collect anything don't also like and use because sometimes dust is only thing accumulated. Time and space are also collectable. Try to use them all wisely.
