Full disclosure -

I've really struggled with this rifle. I like the MDT designed chassis. The factory AccuTrigger is surprisingly good, adjusted down to 18 oz.with a crisp break. The rifle has been capable of decent accuracy, lots of 5 shot 50 yard groups in the .5-.7" range, with best groups in the mid .3's. However, when used at 150 yards and beyond accuracy has been inconsistent. Additionally, the rifle has the common MkII and B series issues with ejection. Rifle will feed, fire, and extract without problem, but extracted cases frequently fail to eject, just spinning around in ejection port and laying on top of next cartridge in the magazine. I contacted Savage Customer Service and they immediately sent out a new cartridge guide, extractor, and extractor spring, none of which made any difference. I then sent the rifle back to Savage, and their fix was to "polish chamber", which lasted exactly 5 rounds before the 6th failed to eject. I am currently running the internet sourced hack of using two extractor springs, one on top of the other. Ejection is better, but failures are still common, about 1 failure every 15 rounds. I know folks who have gotten these rifles sorted out and shooting really well, but I'm not one of them.
