Trump and the Second Amendment

Let’s get one thing straight. These politicians give us a song and dance about the 2nd amendment as they all have lunch together laughing. Remember Trump (like Regan) was a Democrat before turning Republican. If you believe our government has our side then you will believe this.

There was failures all the way around in that whole event and little of it has to do with the fact he had a gun. A firearm doesn't have to be present for LE to use lethal force…….general comment no politics but the investigation will pan that out none of us here were there as I’m retired and not my rodeo

On Trumps statement, most comments from him and others peolme hear what the want Ron hear or make theor atand on this but not that comment.

But with that most times The problem is very few politicians really know the firearms stuff
Inside or out, From the “allegedly” prob2A ones most don’t know theirs and outs of carry laws
And the anti ones have zero cause the difference between semi auto and automatic

Look no further than the verbiage of laws, sure it’s a law allowing stuff but is so vaguely written it’s a court case down the rod so an judge can make a ruling in what the writers really met….makes zero sense .i get an occasional gray area nobody can predict but lots of vagueness on a lot of things .

Bottom line ain’t either side of the political side isn’t anyone here’s friend

When you vote for President and Senate/Congress anymore we are basically picking which STD you want to live with for 4 years instead of a great candidate

I don't see him as a Constitutionalist, I'm sure at some later date 2A will be just another optional suggestion like other Amendments, might depend on who you are, where you are and when you have a gun if you can keep one.

It’s a ying-yang affect. Times the only way to keep evil at bay is having the good side standing up to it. Yes we can pass laws but when was the last time criminals obey laws. The way I see it we are screwing the good side out of defending themselves. All political parties are to blame the way I see it.

Oh that’s an easy fix……if they shoot uo people on purpose (not someone shot an intruder or robber and maybe a shot of two a jury said was late) but Stine come murderers like rapists or sex offenders they don’t get an outdate.

While uiu will still have a case here and there it won’t be the repeat felon BS catch and release rinse and repeat!

This is one of the very few talking points politicos have to keep the masses in a frenzy. Throw in Abortion and now illegals seemingly the ruination of everything and you now have campaign/news fodder. The thing is, they are incapable of putting together plans that will actually have an impact on "We the Peeps". I am old enough to remember owning / carrying guns before Licenses / Permits were even part of conversation. The opportunity to create a money generator and a line in the sand could not be resisted. Trump is like the majority of politicians reacts in the moment for what is perceived as the "Right Choice" but his best trait is give him a few news cycles and he might wind up on your side.
