Tsunami alerts triggered for entire U.S. West Coast, Alaska, Hawaii after massive 8.7 quake strikes off Russia

Parts of Alaska are under Tsunami Warnings while the entire U.S. West Coast and the state of Hawaii are under Tsunami Watches after a monster magnitude 8.7 earthquake struck off the east coast of Russia Tuesday evening.

My son is first mate on a commercial fishing vessel headed west from St Paul AK. They expect to get it at 6:45 pm about an hours and a half from now. They would like to be 100 miles out but only 20 a few minutes ago location pic below

His Mom and I are a little anxious to put it lightly
