This isn't about oil, this is about Iran getting nuclear weapons. We aren't putting boots on the ground. We gave Iran plenty of chances, they refused. Now they have nothing. The last thing we need is an islamic regime getting their hands on nukes.

Personally, I think we could have gotten Iran to give up its nuclear program if we could have made Israel to give up their nuclear weapons. Think about it, if a neighbor you hate had a cannon pointed at your house, wouldn't you want to have a cannon pointed at their house?

It's a good theory, but Iran never mentioned that and there has been no evidence in the last 45 years to suggest that Iran would act rationally. And there has been no indication Iran ever complied with the nuclear directives it already had from the IAEA.

Besides, Israel isn't the one funding terrorist groups and performing terrorist acts all over the middle east.
 
Someday, we’re gonna learn that our F’ing about in that region does not work out well for us in the end—eg: first gulf war directly leading formation of Al Qaeda and 9/11, second gulf war directly leading to formation of ISIS, etc…

But not today.

Wonder how many Americans this bull$hit will end up killing…any number is gonna be too many.
