testtest

Very first shots from my KUNA out of the box...

First shots from my new Springfield KUNA, fresh out of the box. Still waiting for the brace and front stop to ship, then will add a Holosun green dot, and maybe, just maybe a suppressor. Shot well, very well... no jams with 3 different types of ammo. What I wanted to test.

Ya, I learned the chest mount didn't work well, next time maybe on the hat looking down the gun to target.

PS: I lied in the video I did have one jam with my newly bought Springfield Saint Pistol .308. Back a few years ago when we had that ammo shortage I couldn't find .308 ammo so bought a box of Russian ammo. The very first shot stuck, no one could get it out so had to send it in to Springfield, it came back with a note DON'T USE RUSSIAN STEEL AMMO. lol Bought American since and never a jam. ;)

More to come when it's completely built and better angle.

I’m at around the 750-800 or so round mark in mine.
600 or so supressed.

Here’s what I’ve run, Zero issues. No feed, no fail to fire, nothing… just pull, bang, repeat.
124 & 147 Oak Island reloads (both, yep…both, subsonic)
124 Blazer. NOT subsonic
147 Federal American Eagle (NOT sub)
158 local off brand reloads, subsonic
147 Federal HST, not subsonic
150 Federal Syntec, subsonic.

In being very honest.
The Federal 150 Syntec, 124 & 147 Oak Island shoot the best out of it.
I can give plus and minus on each…but I’ll probably be feeding it a steady diet of Oak Island 147 once my stock runs out.

I will have to clean the can more often on the Oak Island…but at around $80 or so cheaper per 1K rounds, that’s the price I’m willing to pay…er..make that, save.

All of this ammo is brass. With the reloads, you get a nickel plated brass once in a while. A few per bag of 100 from Oak Island.

I’ve yet to shoot it outdoors…to compare real sound levels. But Soon.
believe it or not, the 124 grain Oak Island, to me, shot subsonic AND felt softest recoil.
The worst ammo for the Kuna, as far as noise and recoil, is the Federal AE 147..
All of it.. very, very accurate. Max yardage so far is 25…once I get outdoors I’ll stretch it to 100 to see what it does.
