Gen 1 models have been out for Glocks, and the Gen2 are being released/shipped for others + improvements to the original Gen1 for Glocks.

Note the Gen 2s have an improved brace and other features. But the Gen1s run fine.

Lastly, the points of contacts are the shooting hand, support hand, cheek or the brace when used on the forearm.
