I think I won 6 straight national championships on the rookie level.
I ran the same. “ Sam or Mike blitz” 4-3 package with Middle line backer shifting left of right depending on how the o lined up. All six seasons complete shutout in every game. It’s does get quite a bit harder as you change your skill level. Still fun as heck to beat the breaks off your Main rival on the lower settings. 😂

I think Xbox has this game, may look into it
 
I used to have fun with video games. Got busy with life and didn’t keep up. My kids got an Xbox one Christmas, well dad was going to show them what boar ate the cabbage. Cue carpel tunnel, took about 20 minutes for my forearms to go to sleep. That’s when 3 girls found out dad wasn’t invincible, it was humbling to be beaten by an 8yr old girl at a SpongeBob game.
 
When Atari first came out, and was insanely expensive, bought one and played Space Invaders, Asteroids, etc. worked off shifts and got addicted. Went to Daywatch and stopped. Now occasionally play military strategy games…

Had a early Gen Joystick & HOTAS set-up, but no pedals.

Pretty challenging game considering the AA threats in all the hidden places.

I could get thru all the levels except the last one, which I think was impossible to get thru because of the massive drone attacks. I couldn't get to the FOBs (Forward Operating Bases) fast enough to rearm/refuel.

But the earlier levels became almost instinctive to get thru once you get the hang of each one, had the optimum weapons' load-out figured out, and were in the zone.

I still have the game & control set-up but haven't set it back up in a long time. I find it more interesting to play here where I can enjoy a wide range of casino games. In addition, this platform has extremely fast payouts.

Way, way back I was good enough in a missile attack arcade game to make the top 10 in the nation at one time. These other kids were gather around as I played. After finally got finished with that one time I registered my score then walked away and never played an arcade game again.

Hitting top 10 in an arcade game nationally is no small feat; walking away after that is almost poetic.
