I regret selling a PPKS many years ago to a county deputy.

They are good guns…I like all of Walther’s line.

Buy it. You’ll regret it if you don’t.

My first centerfire pistol. Bought it new in 71 for $125. Shot the heck out of it (I was shooting a box a day during my lunch hour for several months). Saved my bacon on one occasion. Three years later a buddy who wanted it bad and had been pestering my about it offered $175 and like an idiot I sold it. Bought a Browning P35 with the money. Shortly thereafter I began to regret ever selling the PPK. Still miss it.

That’s how mine was marked as well. I currently have a P220 so marked.

Yes…what everyone else is saying. If you don’t buy it, you’ll regret it. Mine doesn’t have the “S” on the end, but it melts into my hand, it’s heavy and a bit snappy, and it was my very first handgun.

Because it was made by Walter in West Germany it should be a good one. Walther made these for German police depts for years in .32 cal. Hey, James Bond liked them!

Iconic little handguns. I worked for some folks who all carried PPK/S (Couple, their daughter and 2 sons) and they could have picked any gun made. I've always had a soft spot for it's replacement, the M1 PPS in 9mm.
