In the 80's we equipped a few undercover officers with PPK/S pistols. I was impressed with how accurate they were, but the ammo available at the time was crap and caused a lot of malfunctions

And that slide bite is no joke, and probably wasn’t back then either…but then again, it takes range time to induce slide bite (at least for me). A dozen or so rounds, not a big issue. 200 or so…ouchie !

Glad I got mine when I did. Mine’s .380, I wouldn’t mind picking one up in .32. That way they could keep each other company on the shelf, never getting fired!
