When it comes to .22 Magnum pistols in semi-autos, for the longest time, manufacturers could not figure out how to get them to run properly. It is a long cartridge with a very steep bullet profile which lends itself to having all sorts of feeding issues.

The Walther WMP .22 Magnum (Walther Magnum Pistol) is a new player on the scene, and this review sees how it performs out in the field.

I have had no accuracy problems with mine. The grip and now it feels in your hand is 100% Walther - very much like my PPQ. I have had it for almost a year, and early on finding a quality compatible holster was a challenge. At present there are only a few magazine holsters that are a good fit for the .22WMR round. The only down side - depending on your perspective - is that a round of .22WMR cost about the same as a round of 9mm. I am currently evaluating .22WMR carbines and will purchase one in the near future.
