TONAK Nasavrky
refers to a manufacturing location and branch of TONAK a.s., a historic Czech company that is one of the world's largest and most significant manufacturers of hats, berets, and caps.
  • Location: While the company is based in Nový Jičín (founded 1799) and Strakonice, they have historically operated or branded products from Nasavrky, a town in the Czech Republic.
  • Products: Items marked "TONAK Nasavrky" are often vintage or military-issue, including green military winter hats (ushanka style) from the late 1980s.
  • Company Heritage: TONAK is known for over 225 years of experience in producing felt and knitted headwear. The name stands for "Továrna NA Klobouky" (Hat Factory).
  • Current Status: The company continues to produce high-quality hats and, in 2001, acquired the FEZKO Strakonice division, expanding their production to include military, police, and fashion berets.

Thanks Jester, what Brand do you is up there in Minnesota Bella?
I would prefer wool but the Fjallraven I have is thicker double layer wool and the Carhartt that’s half the price does a better job.
The Nordic heater is good if stationary but beanie worked best for situational awareness, keeps ears warm with minimal interference. I like to hear if something is coming up on me. I have thought about the Sitka with wind stopper.
There jacket is easily the warmest jackets I have ever owned.
Yes - beanie for overall situational awareness.

I don’t like hoodies, prefer a beanie.
