Which is why I gave up on NASCAR many years ago. North American Stock Car Automobile Racing-yeah, right-nothing “stock” has been around for decades not even a Body panelThe Mustang GTD is still street-legal production (albeit limited) car so it's still a "Mustang" vs. a NASCAR Ford "stang" which is just a body shell over the the universal Next Gen chassis with engines that are not based on production engines, and all have the same transmission, tires and suspension.
So NASCAR cars, regardless of brand/maker, are "cookie cutter" cars that just drive around in a circle like a flock of starlings waiting for the inevitable crash(s).
