Watching the bonfire

Sitting drinking hot cocoa, eating a breakfast hotdog (cannot have a bonfirecwithout a hotdog lol) too early for the Kentucky stuff, watching the last remains of last weeks storm burn up. Well except for the pile of split wood curing for the stove in the workshop.

Got the fence fixed yesterday and the limbs and tree all cut up. Now just relaxing. Hoping everyone else has been able to clean up thier mess, if they had one, without too much expense or trouble.

we cannot have bonfires here. heck, back when i was a kid, we used to be able to burn leaves, paper, other trash. but ooh nooo...back then, we had "Karen's" too and what a PITA they were then..!!!!!

(actually, the cities with all thier "Karen's" on the city and town counsels, all across the state outlawed "open fires", or rubbish cans you'd light up......)

the best we can do here, is have arson fires........and that works out too, as long as your neighbors house isn't too close to yours.......

Few things I love more than the smell of burning wood. We had lots of down pine limbs but the best part, the pine cones. Perfect little boogers for starting up the fire pit.
