Why do the 17 rd mags rattle

It functions just fine but I bought because it's advertised as the highest capacity compact 9 in the world. It's not much good as concealed carry if everyone is looking at you wondering what that noise is

i'd worry less about the mag then if the firearm works good

Can anyone tell me why the 17 rd magazines rattle like a pack of tic tacs in my pocket? The warranty sent it back and said it's normal. Is anyone else having the same problem?

I've got a lot of magazines for all my SA and other products and none of them rattle. I do not have a Hellcat. I do have a couple of XD9s, XD45, XDM Elite, Echelon, Garrison, Ronin, and other stuff. When I carry a spare mag or two they are in a holster, unless I'm at the range. Then I'll sometimes put one in my pocket. I always slap the magazine so all the cartridges are against the back wall of the magazine.

Do you carry in a very quiet environment? Are you constantly moving, running, jumping? Maybe not topping off the magazine is the easiest fix. I hope you get this inconvenience sorted. Try something, if that doesn't work, try something else.

OK, I'll stop rambling. Sometimes I think out loud...too much.
