Will the 2a preclude political violence?

I repeat my postulation that these violent demonstrations are a tool right out of Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals. First you find an issue then convince people it is important to them, even if they don't know it's an issue to them.

Then you fan the flames and draw attention to it until it looks like a movement. You must enflame passions.

Then you denigrate authority as the bad guy, until of course you are the ones with the power and the guns.

It is of course all about getting power. We see it happening before our very eyes right now. There seems to be no room for civil discourse. This is not new. It is Marxist at its core.

When listening to the hateful rhetoric, one most ask, will it come to armed conflict this time? Will we need to defend our homes and families by force of arms this time? I hope not now, but I fear our grandchildren will be faced with civil war on some level. Which amplifies our need to preserve the right to keep and bear arms, and for our children and grandchildren to know how to use firearms.

I Think there has never been a time that the 2A is more important to our survival as a nation.

I urge everyone to read Kurt Schlicter's book, American Apocalypse. It is a work of fiction, but is current with events and carries the current tensions out to the nth degree. See the relevance of the 2nd Amendment throughout.

I certainly don't want to turn this into another "political thread", but in regards to the other thread about civil unrest, this just further verifies that these "protests" are financed and planned. Meaning the violence is a "means to an end", but of course "plausible deniability" is engaged to distance themselves from what they actually do want and reward. Reward, you may ask? Look at who is posting bail for those arrested at these "protests" and follow the money. Yes, we do need to prep and be aware of our surroundings and situations that materialize, but we must not be under any illusion as to the true cause and purpose of what is going on.

It was because of you and few others recommending this book a while back, that I went ahead and read it also. While it's been several weeks since I read that book, there is not a day that goes by that I find something that reminds me of the stories in that book. Like you told me, it will make you think!

I would also encourage anybody who can, to listen to the speech with translation of the new Spanish leader, who is a communist. What she is proposing is exactly what the left wants to do here. Hence their fighting to keep illegals here.
