Well today I finally got to shoot the XDm-40 and decided to throw in the XDm Elite in 10MM to help along.
I decided to to 180 grain on both calibers so I could see if there was a difference.
The green target here was at 7 yards (which was #2 target) with the .40 S&W XDm.
This lovely target was with the 10MM XDm Elite (sportsman warehouse edition).
After doing 3 targets I did realize there is a difference between the 2 calibers in recoil. The XDm-40 I have needs a little more attention on cleaning and will get a 2nd looking at when I go to Alabama coming up. The ammo used was both from Freedom Munitions since every ammunition manufacturer sets up their products differently (which I personally found out during a range trip with my Glock G23.5).
If you made it this far then you know I was scared too and was screaming in the heat.
