I've been looking at the XDM 10MM in 4.5 or 5,25. I'm a M&P fan, but S&W doesn't make a 10MM semi-auto that appeals to me. Glock 20? Never been a Glock fan. The XDM 10MM has great reviews and reasonable price, plus 15+1 capacity. 10,000 round tested with no failure. Ok, that's great, but EVERY outlet that I checked is OUT OF STOCK for both models. Anyone know why? I must have checked at least 20-30 outlets. Signed up for several wait-lists to contact me.

It took a very long time before I found my 4.5" 10mm. The store I bought it from ordered it almost a year earlier. It had been part of the 75% of the order they had placed that actually came in. I GOT LUCKY plain and simple.
I walked in he was putting it in the display case, it never left his hand before I told him to get the paperwork. He had it all of 20min before I bought it. He got 1
