For the money, SA 10mm are hard to beat

Well since the whole Glock thing that has and is happening. I actually had the winning bid on a XDm elite match 10MM w/5.25” barrel. Personally I think it might be something to consider for matches since I’m into the slightly bigger calibers. Otherwise I can’t wait to bring it home.
Congrats on the pickup Jsimon. I have one also (plus many more 10mms from several different manufactures). I love the 10mm.

No.

I'll never get a 1911 in 10mm since IMO the polymer-type handguns are better to handle the 10mm having most of their weight were it's needed, in the slide, for the 10mm.

Personally it all depends on the manufacturer. Yes I dabbed in the 1911A1 water a little. I do have a RIA 1911A1 FS MS in 10MM that I haven’t really given much attention to lately. Yes it has a story but that story has been fixed for about a year now.

I know I’m probably going to eat my words on this but I’ll say it. I honestly think 9MM is way overrated to the point something will happen where .40 and 10MM will have more impact including a renewed focus. Yes 9MM is cheaper to run than anything out there (besides .22lr which is fun to go plink with) but this slump won’t last forever. We are at the tail end of the last panic cycle and the dust is settling.

I’m big on different calibers for people out there including different firearms. We all are fanboys of a certain type but some of us forget how small our community really is. The one saying I can’t get out of my head is “To take out a violent bad person takes a violation good person.”

I’m trying to expand out besides been brand loyal to just one (times it’s not easy). The fun will come soon.

Also thank you.
No problem Jsimon, nothing wrong about trying different makes & models when they can be afforded and available for purchase in your State. I have all three of the S&W 10mm models (along with their new 10mm FPC which I’ve yet to shoot). I love the Performance Center 10mm model, and told the FN rep just that when I met him at my LGS. He was raving about their FN 510 10mm pistol (which I also own), and I told him my S&W PC 10mm shot and felt better handling compared between the two. He just replied “well it’s their Performance Center, that’s to be expected since they make really fine Firearms there”. My two favorite calibers are the 10mm and 300 Blackout in which I have several brand firearm models in each caliber.

Next 10mm you need is a S&W 610 revolver, really fun shooting it, that’s is if you don’t mind using the moon clips, with the Smith, you can also use .40s&w while in the Ruger, they don’t recommend it.

Yes, I forgot I also own this one too from S&W. Thanks for that reminder Anni ;), as I bought it after you had bought one and posted it on here. Good recommendation (y)
