You Go, Girl

I found out that yesterday that a man broke thru the Dutch door at the pharmacy then fell on the floor. A call went out for a manager and when he arrived the guy, believed to be high pulled a knife and tried to stab him. He was subdued. Unknown to at this time if anyone was hurt but it seems among the homeless community it's said that they buy knives at second hand stores because there very inexpensive. I'm glad I didn't travel in to get my heart meds as I hate paper work. I know most of the people there and It's good to know no one was not here. As homelessness increased across the country the danger has increased in many places.

When I was a security guard I worked around homeless people most of the time. I never ran into one that wasn't armed with something.

I can't speak for any place else but in Colorado Springs homeless people kill each other frequently and you almost never hear about it on the news.

I think because the news media doesn't want people to know how bad the problem is and I also think that it's because they're homeless and nobody cares.

Hi,

Many are being released O.R., with no cash bail. It's basically a get-out-of-jail-free card. Why should the perps change their ways? There is no downside, no punishment, no deterrent.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff
Sounds like they're being denied their constitutional rights by not being given bail. :)

Had a Justice of Peace that told me to hold up fingers for how many thousands I wanted the bail to be. It wasn't just me he did same for all PD and SO. As best as I can remember he never was overturned.
